The Morning Dew a late 1960's era rock band from Topeka, Kansas are back in the news.  The Dew have had new CD recording recording releases and honored with induction in the Kansas Music Hall of Fame during 2009 and 2010.  Follow their re-emergence in our News area.

News Release - Topeka, Kansas

Topeka, Kansas residents, Malcolm Robinson and Don Anderson were inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame on March 6, 2010.   The Morning Dew was a popular Kansas rock band of the late 1960's.  The Morning Dew toured widely and recorded on Fairyland and Roulette Records.   Robinson and Anderson united with other former band members in Lawrence, Kansas for the induction ceremony and performed with the band during their set of original songs.

On March 6, 2010 The Morning Dew was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame.  After 40 year hiatus, members of The Morning Dew returned for a reunion performance at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, Kansas.  Learn more and view videos or photos of the Kansas Music Hall of Fame  in an number of places including websites TheMorningDew.com , the Kansas Music Hall of Fame and PortlandSideways.com.

Oregon City, Oregon resident, Don Sligar was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame on March 6, 2010.   The Morning Dew was a popular Kansas rock band of the late 1960's.  The Morning Dew toured widely and recorded on Fairyland and Roulette Records.   Don Sligar living in Palo Alto during the winter months, returned to Lawrence, Kansas for the induction ceremony and performed with the band during their set of original songs.

Washburn University - Topeka, Kansas was the birth place of The Morning Dew.  The Morning Dew was a popular rock band of the late 1960's.  The Dew toured widely and recorded for Fairyland and Roulette Records.  Washburn University graduates Malcolm Robinson (71), Don Sligar (71) and Don Anderson (70) were members of the original band.

On March 6, 2010 The Morning Dew was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame.  After 40 years, during the ceremony members of The Morning Dew for a reunion performance at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, Kansas.
